Jex Jones Obituary (1991

Jex Dale Jones, beloved son and brother, returned to live with his Heavenly Father on January 12, 2012. He was born November 21,1991 in American Fork Utah. Much of his active 20 years was lived in the moment, following his passions, rooting for the underdog, and living his life to the fullest. Jex had a friendly way about him that drew others to him because of the gentle fairness that he demonstrated in his actions. Jex was a handsome young man that stood out by showing generosity, mercy, love, and kindness to those that were struggling around him. Strongly independent, Jex strove to excel in all that he did. He was a strong athlete, avid outdoorsman and hunter, friend and mentor. Jex worked hard to face the challenges that came his way. Through his life, Jex taught us all by example to be thoughtful, not to judge, and to be fair to everyone. Jex is a vital and vibrant piece of a beautiful family puzzle that includes his siblings; Derek Jones, Chandie Jones, Clayton Jones and Dawson Jewkes. Jex's parents are Debbie and Alan Yardley (mother/step father) and Douglas Dale Jones (father). Grandparents include Sherman and Janyce Myers (maternal parents) and Dale and Tamra Jones (paternal parents). Jex is also an uncle to two young boys that look just like him. We are grateful for the time that we spent with Jex. He will always be someone that is larger than life. In life, his charisma and humor was such that no one forgot him, and we will also never forget our Jex.A graveside service will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Utah.
